Overnight Visits

City Park Camping_0There are so many reasons to spend more than a day in our great little city.  Whether visiting family and friends or attending one of our many events held throughout the year, Pinckneyville has a variety of options for your overnight stay.

With close to 50 rooms in town to lay your head, the city's hotel and bed and breakfast are always welcoming new guests.  Indoor pools, conference rooms, country settings, or in-town action, we have a bit of everything to offer.

If "roughing it" is more your style, there are several choices for camping in and around town.  We have camping with electric and water hookups at our City Park and Fairgrounds or you can travel just a couple miles north of town to Northtown RV Park.  For more primitive camping arrangements, you can visit the largest state park in Illinois, Pyramid State Park or Lake Sallateeska Baptist Camp which offers group camping and is also home to the Salateeska Inn.   Boating, hiking, RV parks and indoor swimming are just a few of the things the 200 plus bed campground provides and has plenty of room for large or small camps or retreats.
